Obama: Soon To Be Lame Duck?

I am going to share with you a number of links to different articles that will help you understand- in a big picture sort of a way- the mess Obama and the liberal press have put us into.  These articles are not much fun to read, but you need to be educated.  You need to understand what Obama is creating and what he is destroying with his liberal agenda.  You need to understand the economic reality and you need to get ready for Obamacare.

First I want you to go to an article by Dick Morris titled, “Obama’s three cover-ups“.  This article points out that Obama’s election campaign was based upon three lies.  Those lies were: 1.)  The economy is in a slow recovery.  2.)  The Benghazi attacks started as peaceful protests against some obscure video.  3.)  Obamacare will have little effect on our medial costs.  While I don’t think the American people, generally, are going to latch onto the Benghazi deceptions, the other two are about to hit the  fan.  Even the low information voter is going to figure out they have been lied to.

Now, I want you to go to Dick Morris’  video titled,”How the Fed is killing us“.   Dick explains in the video why the actions of the Federal Reserve will not stimulate the economy.  It’s a very short video, but it contains really good information.   Dick explains that the economy is flush will cash, but nobody is spending because everyone is scared.  Printing more money and lowering interest rates will do nothing to stimulate economic recovery.

Next I want you to go read, “CBO Outlook: Apocalypse Soon” by David Harsanyi.  David explains that CBO (Congression Budget Office) projections have historically been way off the mark.  Generally the CBO projects significantly better economic outcomes than actually occur.  David then points out that the CBO is not projecting a healthy economy into the foreseeable future in spite of what Obama and the liberal press would want us to believe.  If the CBO is projecting a sluggish economy we better look out!

You can then read, “Under Obamacare, 7 Million will lose their Employer-based Health Insurance“.  The title says it all.

Now go to the New American article titled, “Families to Pay at Least $20,000 a Year for Insurance Under Obamacare, Says IRS“.   This is not news that is fringe news, only talked about by conservative bloggers, this information is out in the open, but you have to look for it a little bit because the liberal news outlets are not giving us what we need.

The IRS has projected that an average family of five will spend at least $20,000 in health insurance premiums when they are forced to purchase an Obamacare approved health insurance policy. Ouch!  By the way, I talked to a woman yesterday who told me she thought Obamacare would bring the costs of healthcare down.  She is a seemingly well-educated, bright, woman.  I really like her, but it appears that she still is not aware of the facts.  She is not alone.

Finally I want you to go to the Heritage Foundation, brief # 3847, titled, “January Jobs Report:  No Unemployment Thaw in Sight“.   The economy is not recovering.  In fact it appears we are about to go backwards.  The recession word is being talked about once again.  Unemployment rates have climbed back up to 7.9%.    The number of Americans looking for work remains above 12 million.  Employment remains 3.2 million jobs below its December 2007 peak five years ago.  Even though the Obama administration is being creative in how they calculate unemployment numbers,  even though they have cooked the books, the numbers are getting worse.

Now, don’t go any further until you have read those articles and listened to the video.  This is important to understand.  We can not afford to be ignorant.  I made it easy to see the big picture in a short amount of time.  Take the time to go through this, it will only take you about fifteen minutes, at most.

What does this all mean?  What are we supposed to do with this information?  It is too late to un-elect Obama.  It is too late to kick the Democrats out of the Senate.   What are we supposed to do?

Let’s look at one final link.  A Fox News poll recently came out that says that 83% of people polled feel our government is spending too much money.  Further, 91% view the economy negatively, 77% feel government should stop deficit spending and 63% are dissatisfied with the direction our nation is going.   So it isn’t like our people are unaware that things are bad and that government is spending too much money.  They get that part.

But many don’t understand what the solution to our problems are nor do they understand who created the problems or how they created the problems.  Too many people think Obama is doing a good job but government is spending too much money.  Do you see the disconnect here?

What’s our biggest challenge?  It is to educate the low information voter.  We need to help them understand more than the 30 second soundbite.  How do you do that?  How about you start by forwarding this post to all your friends.  Get the conversation going.  In two more years we have another election.  I have a feeling the people are going to get sick and tired of Obama and the Democrats.  They are going to start to wake up to the fact that Obama and the Democrats are in charge of this train-wreck and things are going to get worse, not better.
